Libman, Nava (Israel)

Nava is a playwright and literary editor, and was born in Tel Aviv, Israel in 1975. In 1996, she was awarded a scholarship for the publishing of a book of her own written poems from the Victor Hugo Foundation. Her debut play Poetry Night was staged in Hasimta Theater in Tel Aviv in 2004.

Her most recent play Who Would Survive? revolves around attitudes towards the Holocaust in contemporary Israel, has been translated to English and was accepted into the Stage 1 Festival in Jerusalem.

Her children's play Tail Tales, originally written in Hebrew, has been translated into English and is currently looking for a home.
